Meditation inspiration day 14 - Refreshing Rest

Meditation as Refreshing Rest.

Think of the deepest most nourishing sleep you have ever had. Then imagine doubling the depth of that experience and having access to that in 3 minutes whenever you want through meditation. You don't need to fly away to a beach in the #dominicanrepublic to experience this, meditation can be done just about anywhere, including a busy, loud and chaotic household or workspace. According to Harvard medical school the body settles into a state of wakeful restfulness during meditation within the first 3 minutes of the activity. By contrast, it takes a few hours to reach the same state of restfulness in sleep. Meditation leads us into a space where the body can restore and revitalize our bodies, minds and life!
